Kids' Turn

The Kids’ Turn program is unique in that it is child focused and at least one parent must attend with their child or children.  The overall goal of Kids’ Turn is to reduce conflict, increase communication, and maintain a supportive, cohesive environment in which family members can openly talk and solve problems.

Communication within a workshop is confidential.

Each participant is awarded a graduation certificate upon completion.

Proven Results
Kids’ Turn has been offered in the San Francisco Bay Area for over twenty years and in other venues across the United States for less time.  Recent empirical studies have shown that Kids’ Turn has helped: improve child-parent communication, improve parenting skills, the children feel better and cope with the divorce, and reduce conflict between the parents.

Fee For Workshop

• Each parent is charged a fee for the workshop on a sliding scale based on pre-tax income.

• There is no fee for children.

• The Tuition Schedule is available on the Kids’ Turn MT website at: www.kidsturnmt.org

REGISTRATION
Each parent must register separately for a workshop.  The Parent Registration form includes registration for your children ages 5 – 15 years and is available on the Kids’ Turn MT website at www.kidsturnmt.org.  Any information that the workshop leaders should know about a child should be provided via the registration form such as food allergies, medical conditions, etc.

Children ages 11-15 are all considered “teens” and each teen must complete his/her own registration form.  That form is available on the web site.  The Kids’ Turn staff requests that the teen return the completed form him or herself.

Parents are also required to complete and return a Consent Form which is available on the website.

QUESTIONS
Any questions about the workshops and/or the registration process can be directed to the staff at 406-585-8544 or info@kidsturnmt.org.  One of the Program Directors will respond.
